Original vs remake

Nintendo describes a ground-up Switch 2 version, not a port of the Nintendo 64 game. Every row on the changes page has a source and a status.

Still TBA: whether collectible totals change (including 36 Pieces of Heart and 100 Gold Skulltulas), exact resolution and frame rate, and whether Master Quest returns. Nothing here is filled in from leaks.

The interactive 100% checklist is on its own page. Locations follow the original game, because the remake is not out. Progress saves in this browser only (nothing is uploaded), and you can export or import a backup.
