About Remake Checklist
Last updated:
Remake Checklist is a small, free, independent fan project: a completion checklist and an honest, sourced summary of what is known about the Ocarina of Time remake for Nintendo Switch 2. There are no accounts, no ads tracking you across sites, and your progress never leaves your browser.
Trademarks and artwork
The Legend of Zelda, Ocarina of Time, Nintendo Switch and related names are trademarks of Nintendo. They are used here only to identify the games this tool covers. This site uses no official artwork, logos, sprites or screenshots; all icons are emoji or simple original graphics.
How the checklist data is built
- Locations follow the original Nintendo 64 / 3DS game.
- Each category was cross-checked against at least one public guide (linked under every list), and totals were verified against canonical counts.
- All descriptions are written in our own words.
- Every entry has a remake-change field. It stays empty until a difference is confirmed in the final Switch 2 release.
Current totals: Pieces of Heart 36 · Heart Containers 8 · Gold Skulltulas 100 · Bottles 4 · Songs 12 · Masks 8 · Items 20 · Equipment 11 · Upgrades 20 · Quest items 11.
How remake news is handled
The changes page, release date page and Switch 2 page only include information from Nintendo or reputable outlets, with a link on every claim. Each row says whether it comes from Nintendo directly, Direct coverage, or hands-on previews. We do not publish leaks or rumors.
